It´s 17 yrs today since you left us, a lot has gone on since then, but I know you have been with us every step of the way! You are missed constantly! Sometimes I take my paddle boat to cliffs on the lake and reminess of the happy days when we were altogether there! Hugs to you till we meet again continue to be by our side! I love you "CK"

We think of you everyday, our hearts are still broken from the day you left! They say it gets easier as time goes on but it doesn´t, it gets harder! I miss your laughter and your pranks you use to do I am proud to have nicknamed you "CK" and it stuck! I miss fishing with you we were fishing buddies me & you! Well "CK" as you already know how many times I have chatted with u since u have been gone, u have kept Joe safe on his journey to El Salvadore and back, Great Job. Now you have a bigger Job to do, u have to keep Tom Safe on his journey to Afghanastan. U and Auntie Carol I know will help together return Tom home to us Safe!! Carolyn I know your with AnnMarie now. I know how much she thought of you and always remember going to the Beach with all of us driving doing the wave. It still doesn't feel like you're gone. I still remember taking your Jeep to lunch when we were in high school, watching movies in your basement. I still remember you calling me from Massachusetts and telling me how after the new year you were coming back to Utah. I miss you Carolyn and your blasting music as we drove around.

Carolyn Kay was a beautiful baby girl. It was an honor to be there to help Kathy and John when she was born. Carolyn was named after our Aunt Carolyn (Wood) - Poppy's sister and my middle name, resulting in Carolyn Kay. Carolyn was born on 4-7-88 and weighed 4 lbs. 7 oz. She was so tiny that she only filled our two hands when we held her. I found this photo taken with me and Carolyn when she was 10 days old. I was just a little older that what she is today. I will cherish those memories forever. We just returned from the services held for Carolyn. It was wonderful to spend time with so many people who love Carolyn as we do. Thank you to Joe, Heidi, and Mike for your comforting words during the services. To all Carolyn's family and friends - May we all find peace and comfort in the coming days and continue to share our precious memories of Carolyn with each other. I love you Carolyn. Lots of Love! Although I was only lucky enough to spend the weekend in Tucson with Carolyn and the rest of the family it didn’t take long for me to realize what a special person she was. I always hear such amazing stories from Noreen and Tatum and could tell she was very much loved, not just by them, but by all that knew her. I know there are no words to heal your pain right now, only time can do that. But take comfort in knowing that you are surrounded by so many people who love you, and you now have the greatest guardian angel watching over you. You are all in my prayers.

I am greatful to have been one of Carolyn's first Hockey coaches. She was a joy to have on our team. Quite and sweet off the ice, but all business once those skates were laced up. She was one of the fastest learners to ever pick up the game, and extremly dedicated. Even though it has been many years, I still remember her first goal. More importantly than a stand-out player, she was a stand-out person. She always brought a smile to my face. I am blessed to have known her.

My Son Seth Swenson played Hockey with you. He was always talking about how tough you were as a player and how much he enjoyed your friendship. But the one thing that sticks in my mind is when he told me that you had punched some boy in the nose because you were protecting your younger brother after a Hockey game. A crushing loss, there are no words that can help at this time. When my brother passed, unexpectedly, I tried to think of him surrounded by the warm light of Heaven, where he would be protected from all and loved by those who passed before him. And foremost on the list, was to watch and care for you.

When you think of my life
on earth, and all those loving years
because you are only human, they are bound to bring you tears.
But do not
be afraid to cry; it does relieve the pain.
Remember there would be no flowers, unless there was some rain.
I wish that I could tell you all that God has planned.
But if I were to tell you, you wouldn't understand.
But
one thing is for certain, though my life on earth is o'er.
I'm closer to you now, than I ever was before.
There are many rocky roads ahead of you and many hills to climb;
but together we can do it by taking one day at a
time.
It was always my philosophy and I'd like it for you too...
that as you give unto the world, the world will
give to you.
If you can help somebody who's in sorrow and pain,
then you can say to God at night......"My day
was not in vain."
And now I am contented....that my life has been worthwhile,
knowing as I passed along the
way, I made somebody smile.
So if you meet somebody who is sad and feeling low,
