Of Dorchester, suddenly, August 18, 2008. Beloved husband of Phyllis J. (Wilson) Hartman. Loving father of Paula A. of Dorchester, Mark F. of Dorchester, and the late Charles W., III. Devoted grandfather of Alexandria J. of Dorchester and Erica A. of Quincy. Brother of James of Stoughton, Thomas of South Boston, Ruthann Tierney of FL, and the late Diane Thomas. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Visiting hours in John J. O'Connor & Son Funeral Home, 740 Adams St. (near Gallivan Blvd.), DORCHESTER on Thursday from 6-9 PM. Funeral Mass in St. Ann's Church, Neponset, Friday morning at 10 o'clock. Relatives and friends respectfully invited. Interment will be private. Late member of the Port Norfolk Yacht Club.
