Of Lexington, Aug. 19, 2008. Loving husband of the late Jayne Taylor (Brucker) Blake. Terrific father of Mary G. Blake-Dion and her husband Peter of Lexington, Clifford H. Blake, Jr. of Lexington, Daniel P. Blake and his wife Karen of Lexington, Anne Blake and her husband Mark Dawson of Nantucket, and James F. Blake and his wife Trynka of Lexington. Brother of Elizabeth Barron of Venice, CA, and JoAnn Blake of Schenectady, NY. Grandfather of Adrienne Dion, Peter Max Dion, Luke Dion, Connor Dion, Nathan Blake, Eric Blake, Rachel Blake, Sabrina Dawson, Andrew Dawson, and Simon Blake. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Lt. Col. US Airforce, Airforce commendation medal, Purple Heart. Funeral from the Douglass Funeral Home, 51 Worthen Rd., LEXINGTON, Tuesday, Aug. 26 at 9 AM followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at St. Brigid Church, Lexington at 10 AM. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend. Visiting hours Monday 4-7 PM. Donations in his memory may be made to the United Services Organization, USO World Headquarters, PO Box 96860, Washington DC 20090. Interment St. Mary's Cemetery, Needham.
