Of Peabody, August 23, 2008, 93. Husband of the late Georgia (Demopoulos) Menaites and devoted father and father-in-law of Helen and Ted Terzakis and Robert and Gail Meniates, all of Beverly. Loving grandfather of John Terzakis, Cynthia Gakos and Peter-Paul Meniates. Great grandfather of Alexandra Gakos, Nicholas and Kristina Terzakis. Brother of the late Dimitri, Christie, Arthur, Charles and James Meniates. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. A Visitation will be held on Monday from 4:00 until 8:00 PM at the Conway, Cahill-Brodeur Funeral Home at the 82 Lynn St., PEABODY Facility. His Funeral will be held on Tuesday at 10:00 AM from the Funeral Home followed by Services in St. Vasilios Church, Paleologos St., Peabody at 11:00 AM. Burial will be in Greenlawn Cemetery, Salem. Expressions of sympathy may be made to St. Vasilios Church, 7 Paleologos St., Peabody, MA 01960; or to Hospice of No Shore, 75 Sylvan St., Suite B-102, Danvers, MA. 01923 in his memory. Ret. I am so sad that I could not be there in person for an Uncle that I loved so much and know without a doubt that he was truly an angel of God put on this earth for us to enjoy for 93 years. Peace and comfort to the family.
