Ricky,
I have great memories of living on Sunnyside Lane..even the occasional beatings Robbie and I took from you and Harry! Your mom and dad were so great to me and my family back then. Your mother always fed us great food and gave us reassuring hugs. Your dad fixed everything for us...broken bikes, broken lights, broken anything. He had a charm and sense of humor that made us laugh and always ask for more. I remember some of the silly voices (Donald Duck) he would do for us...and Robbie trying to imitate him. Your parents were good, soulful, loving people who always did their best for family and friends, and will always be remembered for their kindness and generosity. We all loved them so much and always will. I think of Robbie, my best friend, often and always keep him in my prayers. Like many people that remember exactly where they were and what they were doing when tragedy struck, I have vivid memories of the day he passed...where I was, how crushed and scared I felt, and how hard i cried for what seemed like days..but turned out to be years. He will always be in my heart, as my very best friend, and I will never, ever forget him. Sunnyside Lane and your family are a part of an indelible legacy that will live on in us for the rest of our lives. So, here's to you Ricky and your great family. We stand with you as we remember your mom, dad, and Robbie. We share your pain, understand your loss, and thank you for being a part of our lives. Take care of yourself.

Ricky--Uncle Al and I may not be with you in person but our hearts are with you and your family during this time of grief. We'll always remember the times in Lincoln and Lakeville when we were all together with your father and brother. God give you strength to continue on during this hard time. Love Uncle al and Auntie Marie.

Ricky ("The Sabbs")
Its been too many years since we all played street hockey in the front of your house. I drive by the old neighborhood once in a while with my kids.
Your Mom was always there to watch over us. She was like a second mother to me for all those years.
I remember the night we took her car out for a joy ride New Year's Eve in a snow storm and got it back in the garage just in time before your parents got home. Your dad saw the car in the garage and then winked at us and pointed out how odd it was that a car in a garage could have snow on it. (Somehow I bet your mom found out about it.)
We had alot of good memories as kids on Sunnyside Lane.
Losing Robby and your Dad was more pain than any one person should have to suffer.
I bet that your Mom is finally with them, hugging both of them as tight as she can, with that big smile of hers.
Just like she did when we were kids.

Ricky - I remember your Mom was always so great to us as kids. She was a wonderful and caring person.
I am hoping that your pain and sorrow will ease with time and with the thought that your mother, father and Robbie are now together in peace.
I knows its difficult as I just lost my father last winter but easier days do come.
My best to you and your family.
Love,
