Mary Ray Obituary

78 of Norfolk, Sat., Aug. 23, 2008, daughter of the late Maurice and Josephine (Kennedy) Murphy. She was educated in the Springfield area and graduated from the St. Vincent Hospital School of Nursing in Worcester, earning her RN. She had worked at the former Pondville Hospital prior to staying home to raise her family. Wife of the late John W. Ray. Mother of Patricia Ray and her husband Jim Sequin of Mansfield, Jack Ray and his wife Barbara of Ft. Plain, NY, Nancy Ray of E. Boston, James Ray of Medfield, David Ray and his wife Cheryne of Norfolk, and Kevin Ray of Plainville. Sister of the late Katherine Zeller, Maurice, Robert, Francis, and John Murphy. She is also survived by 5 grandchildren. Funeral on Wednesday, Aug. 27, 2008 at 11AM at St. Judes Church, 86 Main St., Norfolk, MA. Burial will be in Norfolk Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Walpole Area Visiting Nurses Association, 55 West Street, Walpole, MA 02081 R.J. Ross Funeral Home Wrentham, MA
