Our prayers and thoughts go out to Larry and the family. We knew Ruth when they ran the South Bay HomeBrew Supply. She was always a happy individual and we enjoyed the times we spent with her. She will be missed.

My condolences to Ruth's extended family.

I was a close friend of Ruth's at Canton High though I only saw her a couple of times after I went to college and not at all in the last twenty years.

I also remember picnics at the resevoir, hikes on Race Ridge and up to Bash Bish Falls, dancing to the music of Woody's band, getting rescued by Ruth (in a car) after we failed to make our destination riding our bikes!

Ruth, may you rest in peace.

Ruth, Missing you beyond words. Love, Larry

Condolences to all of Ruth's family. Although I hadn't seen Ruth in roughly 30 years, seeing her picture on this page with that broad smile brings back many memories of Canton CT, going for walks to the reservoir, Ruth doing the occasional pirouette and generally enjoying life in her own unique fashion. I will always remember her as a little on the kooky side, curious, funny, creative, caring and possessing an underlying sense of joy and wonder at life in general. I am sorry that I did not keep in touch to see how all of those qualities served her in her adult years. You were a special human being, Ruth.
Love, Susan Madsen (nee Lord)
