Robert Baker Obituary

Of Everett, August 25, 2008, at age 84. Devoted husband of the late Dorothy T. "Dot" (McLean) Baker. Beloved father of Robert E. Baker, Jr. and his wife Lisa of Milton. Dear brother of Adelaide G. "Ada" Baker of Everett, Bruce Baker and his wife Joyce of Everett. Bampy was lovingly survived by his grandchildren, Brian N. Baker of Wilmington, NC, Stephanie A. Baker, Ian M. Baker, and Nicole A. Baker, all of Milton. Also remembered by his nieces and nephews. Funeral from the William R. Carafa & Son Home For Funerals, 389 Washington Ave., CHELSEA on Friday, August 29 at 8 AM followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at the Our Lady of Grace Church Nichols St. (Everett-Chelsea line) at 9 AM. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend visiting hours on Thursday from 4-8 PM. Interment Woodlawn Cemetery in Everett. Retired as a Lt. of the Everett Police Department, after 38 years of dedicated community service. Late Marine Corp Veteran, serving as a Sergeant during W.W.II. In Bob's memory, donations may be made to a charity of one's choice.

I'm very sorry for your loss. Our families were very close. Bob's mother, Maisie, and my mother, Marion Garland, were the best of friends. My sister, Nan (Garland) Mullis and Ada were also the best of friends. Bruce and I have been friends since we were babies. Bob will be missed very much.
