Dearest Mr. Adams, I never got to tell you that you were one of my heroes as was your beautiful wife. Thank you for putting up with me as a teenager. The trips to Fort Ticonderoga and the times spent in Westerly are among some of my best memories.
You were a man of honor, a man of commitment to your family that set a great example for those around you.
I was sad to learn of your passing. I'll always think of you being on Locust Street.

I'm very sorry to hear of Mr. Adams passing. I remember him as an every Sunday regular at the church and marvelled at how active he stayed for a man who was getting up in years. When Bill and I moved up to Wolfeboro and Gilbert moved up to Ossipee it would have been nice to have kept in touch but Bill's health didn't really allow for that.
Gilbert was a wonderful gentleman and I know that he will be missed by everyone. My thoughts are with you.

I was so sorry to hear about Gil's passing, we were neighrs for many years. Gil was always such a treat with his words of wisdom for the garden. I still remember walking into that basement, how organized and spotless it was. The mornings I would chat with him after he had finished skating...which I think he continued well into his eighties??? He was a very sweet man and I am so sorry for your loss.
