Eugene Murphy Obituary

Of Dorchester & Marshfield, August 27, 2008. Beloved husband of Margaret C. (O'Sullivan). Loving father of Gene of CA, Peggy Walsh of Marshfield, Janet Dunn of Milton, Gerry of Foxboro, and Tim of Dorchester. Devoted grandfather of 12 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. Survived by his brother Joseph Murphy of Malden, and a sister Helen Carten of Auburndale. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Visiting hours in the John J. O'Connor & Son Funeral Home, 740 Adams St. (near Gallivan Blvd) DORCHESTER, on Monday from 4-8pm. Funeral Mass in St. Brendan's Church, Tuesday morning at 10 o'clock. Relatives and friends respectfully invited. Interment Cedar Grove Cemetery. WWII Army Vet. Longtime member of the Knights of Columbus, McKeon Post, Castle Island Assoc., and Holy Name Society of St. Brendan's Church, where he was also an usher. Former owner of Cambridge Imported Auto Body.
