Of Stoneham, August 31, 2008 at age 81. Beloved wife of the late Walter J. Skerry. Devoted mother of Maureen Beaton and her husband Joseph of Stoneham, Michael Skerry of Boston, Marybeth Haake and her husband Michael of TX and Mark Skerry and his wife Amy of VT. Cherished grandmother of 7. Loving sister of Mary Donovan and her late husband Richard of Arlington. Special Aunt of Janice Hoss of CA. Funeral from the Barile Family Funeral Home, 482 Main St. (RT 28) STONEHAM Thursday at 9 am followed by a Funeral Mass celebrating Rita's life in St. Patrick Church, 71 Central St., Stoneham, at 10 am. Family and friends are cordially invited to gather and share remembrances with the family on Wednesday from 4-8 pm. Parking attendants will be available. Interment St. Patrick Cemetery, Stoneham.
