James Cavanaugh Obituary

CAVANAUGH, James J. Jr., age 85, Sept. 4, of Tewksbury, formerly of Reading and Charlestown. WWII Navy Vet., Retired Longshoreman for B.S.A/ I.L.A. Beloved husband of 66 years to Kathleen R. (Walsh). Devoted father of James J. Cavanaugh, III and his wife Gail of Rye, NH, Thomas F. Cavanaugh and his wife Katie of Tewksbury and David M. Cavanaugh and his wife Maureen of Bradford. He leaves two brothers, seven sisters, eight grandchildren, twelve great grandchildren, many nieces and nephews. Calling hours Sunday, Sept. 7th, 4-8 p.m., at the Farmer & Dee Funeral Home, 16 Lee St., TEWKSBURY. Funeral service Monday, Sept. 8th, at 10 a.m., at the funeral home. Interment at Tewksbury Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to the American Heart Assoc., 20 Speen St., Framingham, MA 01701 are suggested.
