Sylvia was a neighbor at Lamplighter. We shared banana bread and her life stories. I can see the smile on her face as I delighted in riding on her stair lift. She always stopped to wave and say "hi" to me and my grandchildren as she drove by. She is my role model and will be missed.

I knew Sylvia and Les though my parents, Carolyn and Sumner Stern. My father pased away 28 years ago. I am no living in Florida. My mother carol is here also. She is in a nursing home at the present time with end stage Parkinson's Disease. I will tell her about Sylvia however, she also has dementia so it may not be understood. I aam expressing my sympathy on her and my behalf. I know my mother would be very saddened at the loss of a good friend if she could understand. My deepest sympathies to your entire family. We lived for many years in Peabody.
