I knew Mark from working at Unicare in Charlestown. He was a very colorful person and witty and had a good sense of humor. He always work Brooks Brothers shirts at work. I saw the logo on every shirt so he must have had quite a collection. I remember he told me he had a pet rabbit in his last apartment and his landlord had fits when they went in and saw his rabbit on the kitchen counter. He and a bunch of us at Unicare were a part of a tour of the Zakim Bridge before it opened. I have pictures of him donning a yellow hard hat with the rest of us on the Zakim Bridge. Mark was a good soul and is still missed by all his friends.

To the D'amico Family,
My deepest sympathies for your loss. I had the wonderful pleasure of sitting next to Mark at our UniCare office in Andover. I enjoyed his wit, humor and carefree outlook. He was a good man and we shared many great stories over trains and the Big E over morning coffee. May you find peace in the many wonderful memories you and your family share. God bless you during this difficult time.

Whenever Mark had a computer problem, he referred to his work area as the D'Amico Triangle, because he would have odd computer issues off and on. He was a big fan of George Strait and always had CDs of George in his CD player on his computer and on his desk. Reading all these memorials about Mark brings back a lot of great memories during our years at the Unicare office in Charlestown. He had a great sense of humor and all around nice guy and I will miss him.

:-( he was always a bright spot in my day, when we would talk or email about the crazy things going on around here, and we just received an email from him a couple of months ago. I will miss him greatly.

Sorry to hear about Mark.

I first met him when I transferred to UniCare's Boston office. Almost immediately, he volunteered to help me complete a large project using his skills to extract and report data. I always enjoyed his subtle sense of humor and our lunches in Boston's North End.

My condolences to all of Mark's family.

My sincerest condolences to all of Mark's family. I met Mark on my first day at John Hancock (1/14/1991) and we remained good friends throughout all our time together at John Hancock, and then stayed in touch when he moved to Unicare and I eventually moved to Chicago. Mark was always there for me and was always a person I could rely on to help me through the bad times and celebrate with me during the good times. I have so many memories of him and I know he'll rest peacefully in Heaven.

I worked with Mark for a few years while at Unicare, sitting next to him in the world of cubes. I remember listening to all his off-beat stories, sharing memories of our respective times at Syracuse Univ, and most of all his willingness to help out whether it was is job or not. I hope during this time of sorrow you are able to find peace and solace in all of your cherished memories of Mark.

I am so sorry to hear of Mark's passing. Mark and I had worked with each other for the past 17 years and he always brought fun and excitement to the office. He will be truly missed. I will miss the talks we always had about Biker Weekend in Laconia. They were good ones, but we always had something to laugh about it and of course other stories about bikes in general. And then of course Nascar, he would keep me up to speed when there were new Boyd's bears out with the various drivers. He was a good person. He will be truly missed. My thoughts and prayers are with the entire family.

I worked with Mark in the early 1990s. Years later I was taking the commuter rail on a crowded Friday night. There were no seats left, and it was my last day before I went out on maternity leave. Guess who saw me and gave me his seat? Mark. My condolences to his friends and family.
