N.F. Davidson Obituary

DAVIDSON, N.F "Frank" Jr. 80, of formerly of Boston, died Sunday, September 07, 2008 at the Hospice Care Center, Port Orange, FL. A celebration of Frank's life will be held 4:00PM, Saturday, September 13, 2008 at the Baldwin Brothers Memorial Chapel, One North Causeway, New Smyrna Beach. Friends may call from 3:00 PM until service time. Mr. Davidson was born September 21, 1927 in Boston, MA. He was a veteran of WW II serving with the US Navy. After his time in the service he joined the Boston Fire Department retiring as District Chief after 30 years of service. Mr. Davidson has been a resident of New Smyrna Beach, FL for the past 14 years. He attended Sacred Heart Catholic Church and was a member of the American Legion Post #17, New Smyrna Beach. Frank was an avid golfer and enjoyed fishing. He was preceded in death by two children, Norma and Michael Davidson. Frank is survived by his loving wife of 19 years, Doris; children, John (Elizabeth) Davidson of Stoughton, MA, Raymond (Sandra) Davidson of Tequesta, FL, Patricia (Lane) Cahail of Fellsmere, FL and William (Patricia) Davidson of Lakeville, MA; daughter-in-law, Patricia Davidson of New Bedford, MA; step-children, Michael Petrucci, Catherine George and Rick Petrucci; five grandchildren; eight great grandchildren and brother, Robert (Joan) Davidson.
