Your 1 year mass is sunday? Wow one year it feels like yesterday when we got the sad news!!! I think of you all the time mostly when this one song comes on " looking down and all I see , you know that I can use somebody" I feel it is you talking to me saying it is ok? Oh I just wish everyone got a second chance. Please watch over us and I will never forget you.

Jr was asking for you today!!!He told me holy god told him he is a good big brother. I know you are here with us and you are watching over us to make sure we will be ok. Great-Uncle Dontato today..We knew u were their with all of us but still it hurts. Her name is Catherine and she is beautiful. Flo misses u and was talking about when G was born how u were. It was with great shock tonight that I learned of Donato's passing from Steven's sister Linda.So many memories came back to me. I am so terribly sorry for your loss.Please know that I understand only too well the pain you all are feeling.It is seldom that I am at a loss for words but truly right now I am.Flo, I wish that I could tell you that it gets easier and time heals.It will get different,not easier.You will get through it.You will raise your children with Donato by your side as I have raised Steven's and mine with him by my side.He will come to you and guide you and when you think you are at your weakest, he will appear.My most sincere condolences to all of you, Mr and Mrs Colarossi, Esta,Emily...my heart is aching for all of you right now.

We are getting ready for Thanksgiving and it's just not the same. DeDe's B-day was so sad without you. I could just see you walking up the stairs as we were singing Happy Birthday. I can remember as a little girl being attached to Lori's hip, my brothers and all the kids hanging out on the porch, I remember Donato being around. As a little girl though, he seemed so big and intimidating, I never knew what to make of him, ya know?! As I got older and he had children of his own, seeing him around the neighborhood it became clear he was probably just a big huge teddy bear! It's obvious how much you all, as a family, love and fight for each other. I know while it's hard right now, you will all help each other through this.

To the entire Colarossi family
You have our deepest, deepest sympathy on your loss. Donato was a unique and special person to all of us and a big part of our lives growing up. It was and has been a pleasure staying in touch; talking and reminiscing with him these last couple years. He was always singing the praises of his wife to us, telling us all how good she was to him and how much he loved his kids.
We hope and pray for all of you, but especially Flo, Gianna, Mikey and DJ.

My Dearest Cousin Flori,
I am truly sorry for your loss. Donato was a caring father, husband, brother, son, uncle, brother in law, son in law. I remember the fun we used to have in our younger years. He was always full of jokes about Canadians. He will be truly missed by all. Flo although words right now cannot heal the pain you are going through please remember I am here for you, Gianna, Mikey, Donato.
When somebody dies, a cloud turns into an angel, and flies up to tell God to put another flower on a pillow. A bird gives a message back to the world, and sings a silent prayer that makes the rain cry. People disappear but they really never go away. The spirits up there put the sun to bed, wake up the grass, and spin the earth in dizzy circles. Sometimes you can see them dancing in a cloud, during the daytime when they are suppose to be sleeping. They paint the rainbows and also the sunsets, and make waves splash and tug at the tide. They toss shooting stars and listen to wishes. And when they sing windsongs they whisper to us, DON'T MISS ME TOO MUCH, THE VIEW IS NICE AND I'M DOING JUST FINE.
Donato has left behind a thousand moments, that will live in your hearts forever. May the memories keep the one you loved close to you in spirit and thought and always in your heart, today and forever.
Find comfort in knowing an angel is now watching over all of you.
