I'm so sorry to hear about the loss of Uncle Bill. The change to the cool weather always makes me think of the pumpkin carving and holiday parties we enjoyed with your family. It was a strange coincidence that I happened to be talking about Gram and her brother Billy with my girls on Tuesday night when my Mom called with the news. They are always near in our hearts. Love, Shannan and Patrick, Molly, Erin and Ethan

I was so sorry to hear about Uncle Bill. I wish that I could be with you all at this difficult time. Please know that our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.
I have so many special memories of our times together growing up with Mother and Bill.
Now they are together once again, I can just imagine the croquet and cribbage/card/poker games they are playing now with Grammie and Grampa Batley and Bruce. He will be missed.
All of our love, Barbara and Perley.

Mr. Batley,
Sir, I would just like to say thank you for your service and sacrifice for our Country when you served in the U.S. Army Air Forces during WW II and for being a member of the Greatest Generation. And to your family and loved ones, I wish to extend my deepest sympathy.
