I was fortunate enough to meet Louie a few years ago, through a close mutual friend; I now find myself recalling his immediate & sincere warmth. He was more interested in learning more about me than talking about himself... He may have had dirty, hard-working hands, but the man himself was a polite and in my opinion, classy individual. He was never without a kind word for my girlfriend as well, never once forgetting to ask how she was, on the occasions she may not have been present. I will never forget his appreciation for my sometimes whacky wardrobe selections, his interest and impressive knowledge of music, and his willingness to show and explain how he knew, and was able to perform the most involved & difficult tasks on autos, motorcycles, you name it. He was always so willing to share his knowledge. With Louie in your corner, you knew you'd have someone to run to when part A wasn't working well with part B. I greatly regret that I didn't see more of him, but I can honestly say that EVERY moment my girl and I spent with this gentle soul was always a pleasure, and many a time we left commenting, "My, what a great guy..." A wonderful man indeed. My heartfelt sympathies to all. He will indeed be missed.
