Dear Morse Family,
I am so sad to hear of your loss. I had the pleasure of being a student of Mr. Morse 30 years ago. I adored him. In fact, I was talking about him just a few days ago. He was such a gentle and kind person. I would always look forward to his class and his smile. He taught me to love poetry (especially Robert Frost, of course!). I also remember him riding his bike to school, playing his banjo and talking about his family. I hope the wonderful memories of such a great man will ease your pain.
Sincerely,
Mary (Barry) Marchant

What an impact Mr Morse had on the lives of his students. I sat in his English class 40 years ago and made a friend for life. He was such a generous, empathetic, and warm person. My thoughts and love are with all of you.

Read "John Anderson" by Robert Burns. One of Jim's favorites. I
will miss my teacher. His subject was Life and how to live it. He did it well
