SIMMONS, Janet A. (Ball) age82,of Wilmington,died peacefully at her home on September 18, 2008 surrounded by family,following a courageous battle with cancer. She was the beloved wife of the late William A. Simmons. Devoted mother of Robert J. Simmons and his wife Janice (Lowe) of Billerica, Carolyn S. Gable and her husband William, Joseph P. Simmons and his wife Melissa (Glencross) all of Wilmington, and the late Mary M. Simmons & Frank W. Simmons, loving grandmother of Michael and Stefanie Gable, William, Thomas, and Jonathon Simmons all of Wilmington, dear daughter of the late Ralph C. & Jennie A. (Silva) Ball, sister of Robert F. Ball of Las Cruces, New Mexico and the late Ralph C. Ball.
