Devoted father of Nancy Carroll of New Bedford, Catherine T. Lawton and her husband Mark of Dedham, Eileen P. Ames and her husband Allan of Reading, William J. Carroll and his wife Jane M. of Marshfield, Margaret E. Carroll of Norwich, CT, and the late John P. Carroll. Devoted grandfather of Cate, John, and Luke Lawton, William, Joseph and Elizabeth Carroll, and Oliver and Emily Ames and Mary Cronin. Brother of Mai Kileline, Martin, Pete, and Tom Carroll all of Ireland. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.Funeralfromthe William J. Gormley Funeral Home, 2055 Centre St., WEST ROXBURY, Tuesday,Sept.23rd at 10 AM followed by a Funeral Mass in St. John Chrysostom Church at 11 o'clock. Visiting hours Monday 4-8 PM.
