Bethany Gorfine

September 22, 2008

My cousin Brenda, was the daughter of Louis and Francis Kirshenbaum and sister of Paula. Francis was the sister of my father and his brothers - Hy Gorfine, Sam Gorfine and Isadore Gorfine. A chapter now closed. She was cousin to my brother Marc and I. When we were young, we were a fairly close knit family, but as life deals its usual ups and downs, and people move away, the closeness of what once was - becomes memories.

I will remember Brenda as a girl and a young woman. I will remember her as a bride, a mother and wife. Our lives then moved on to the occasional family gathering.

I hope her new friends embraced her and loved her. She deserved that much. I hope for Seth and Jerel wonderful memories. I hope for Larry respect and admiration for the wife of his children.
Brenda, you are loved in heaven and embraced by my parents (Harriet and Hy), your uncles and grandparents.
Love, Bethany
