Mr. Tenaglia,
Sir, as a fellow Marine I would just like to say thank you for your service and sacrifice for our Country when you served with the USMC during WW II-especially at Iwo Jima. It was the history and accomplishments made by you and your fellow Marines back then that all of us Marines who followed in your footsteps have always tried to live up to. And to your family and loved ones, I wish to extend my deepest sympathy.

You will always be in my heart. I know that you are in Heaven with my dad now and you will no longer be suffering or in pain. I loved you just like a father and will always remember the great times we had with you and your family through the years. Rest in heavenly peace.
