I was shocked to hear about Joe. I worked for and with him for 16 years at the department. He was always a good supervisor and a friend that would go out of his way to help you. I will always remember him and keep you all in my prayers. Be proud of him he was a good man and will be missed.

I hold very fond memories of our childhood neighborhood and the friendship we had. I'm sure all that knew you would agree that your friendly, positive demeanor and endless enthusiasm shined through in everything you did, whether riding all of the ups and downs of being a kid in Salem in the 70's, or as an adult decades later.
You were one of the good ones who will be deeply missed, but warmly remembered.
