HANSBURY, John P. Of Chelsea Sept. 21, 2008 at age 77. Beloved husband of Shirley L. (Epstein) Hansbury. Devoted father of Corinne E. Sanchez and her husband Phillip of Redondo Beach, CA, and Paula L. Sullivan and her husband Brian of Swampscott. Dear brother of James H. Hansbury of Chelsea, Joan Fitzgerald and her husband William of Billerica, and Kathleen Monaco of Abington. Brother-in-law of the late Claire Hansbury and Anthony Monaco. Also lovingly survived by 3 grandchildren Christopher Sullivan, Lauren Sullivan both of Swampscott, Kevin Sanchez of CA, and nieces and nephews. Funeral from the William R. Carafa & Son Home For Funerals 389 Washington Ave. CHELSEA on Wed. Sept. 24 at 9 AM followed by a Holy Eucharist Service at St. Luke's Episcopal Church 201 Washington Ave. Chelsea at 10 AM. Relatives and friends kindly invited. Visiting hours in the funeral home on Tuesday 5-8 PM. Interment Woodlawn Cemetery in Everett. Late Army Veteran of the Korean War. Former member of the Chelsea American Legion and the VFW. Retired employee of Railway Express and the City of Chelsea Dept. of Public Works. For those who wish, donations in John's memory may be made to the above named church.
