A Poem for Marie
Like a butterfly with beautiful wings,
we’ll watch her in awe as she soars.
We’ll watch as she glides gracefully.
We will smile and we will sing.
We’ll sing a song about her laugh,
A laugh that could carry you
up and beyond.
A song about a smile so profound.
A smile that will forever carry on.
We’ll sing a song about a friend,
who could dance with such lovely poise
We’ll sing a song about a mother,
who loved her son, who loved her boy.
We’ll sing a song about a blessed
beautiful woman with such a love
and passion for life.
We’ll sing and remember her joy
though the sorrow and the strife.
We’ll watch her spirit like a butterfly
with such beautiful wings.
We’ll watch her in awe as she soars.
We’ll watch her as she glides
through the sky.
We’ll smile and we’ll sing.
We will always remember Marie.
