Maureen McPhee-Nelson Obituary

MCPHEE-NELSON, Maureen Ann Age 54, passed away at her home in Los Osos, CA. Moe was born September 26, 1953 in Massachusetts and moved from Malden to Lake Tahoe in 1982 where she met her late husband, Boyd Nelson. Moe and Boyd moved to Los Osos in 1992 after being married and rebuilding their dream home. Moe was a Registered Nurse since graduating from Boston University where she obtained her Bachelor of Science in Nursing. Moe enjoyed skiing, sailing, cooking, and planting her flowers. She also enjoyed walks on the beach, both on the east and west coast. She always tried to embrace the beauty in life and loved her family and friends. Moe is survived by her parents Hugh and Jane McPhee of Florida, Sisters Theresa Powers and Margret McPhee-Russell, brothers Edward and Patrick McPhee, as well as many nieces and nephews and aunts and uncles. Moe was also the daughter to the late Dorothy Murphy-McPhee and sister to the late Hugh and Michael McPhee. A Mass in honor of Maureen's life will be held on September 27th at 9:00 AM.
