BACHOFNER,EdwardF. "Brud" Of West Roxbury, September 24, 2008. Beloved husband of Jacqueline M. (Grundy). Beloved father of Susan Corbosiero and her husband Louis of Natick, Linda Reen and her late husband Kevin of Canton, Edward Bachofner of West Roxbury, and Paul Bachofner and his wife Kim of Holbrook. Also survived by 8 grandchildren and 1 great granddaughter. Loving brother of Jean Bachofner of Roslindale and the late Gustave, William and Donald. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, September 27, at 11:00 AM in The Robert J. Lawler & Crosby Funeral Home, 1803 Centre St., WEST ROXBURY. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. Visiting hours Friday 2-4 & 7-9 PM. Interment Gethsemane Cemetery. Retired Boston Firefighter for 34 years, Engine 30, Ladder 25. WW II Navy Veteran. Edward was an avid fisherman who enjoyed spending time at his summer home in Maine. He was a sport fan who loved watching the Boston Red Sox. Sir, I would just like to say thank you for your service and sacrifice for our Country when you served in the USN during WW II and for being a member of the Greatest Generation. And to your family and loved ones, I wish to extend my deepest sympathy.
