I met Mike back in the early Racotek days when he gave me a chance to move over from the development area into servicing support. Though I didn't know it at the time he helped propel me to a better career and offered me some great advice along the way. I have nothing but fond memories of his style and leadership.

My condolences on your loss,
Thomas

Deb, Abby and Sarah,
It has been 2 months since Mike's passing and I just want you all to know not a day goes by that I don't think about Mike. He was an amazing leader, mentor and the master of amazing phrases!! I am constantly "trading up my problems" and reserving the right to change my mind tomorrow. There is so much more that I would have liked to have learned from him.

I am so happy for you that you have such amazing memories to keep him close to you and so sad that he is gone.

All the best,

Julie

Mike started at Burroughs in Bridgeport about the same time I did and was a scrappy basketball player. What a career after- I had no idea. I did not know him well but thought that the Burroughs days should be remembered. Godspeed.

Deb
I was so sorry to hear of Mike's passing. Those Basic Four days seem so long ago. It has been a long time, since Keith and I spent time with you, and Mike here in CT. I will always remember Mike for his charisma, and love for life. My thoughts and prayers are with you. I know the girls, and your memories will be your greatest comfort.

Dear Deb

I was shocked and saddened to hear of Mikes passing. I worked with Mike, at the dawn of time, when he was at Basic Four. He was the hardware guy and I was the software guy in many a dog and pony show. He was wonderful to work with and always had clarity of vision and force of direction that I usually lacked. I consider these some of my fondest memories in the computer business and learned a lot from him about how to sell.

Again I am so sorry to hear of his passing.

Sincerely
Dr. Keith T. Kuhns and Family

Words are inadequate in times like this. I want you to know that I will continue to pray for your families. I did no know Mike for very long but thoroughly enjoyed the few times we shared together at the Enterasys Executive Council meetings or over the phone. His love for his work and people was only surpassed for his love of his family. I have never met you all but wanted to emphasis a fact that you already knew. That being as a Husband, Father and Grandfather Mike was number one. Cherish the memories that you had and try to be strong as Mike would have wished.

You are in my prayers,

In the short two years I had the opportunity to interact with Mike it was very clear he was a uniquley talented individual in many different ways. He has left me with an example of what to aspire for, which is a great gift I will continue to value into the future. Words cannot describe my empathy for his family and can only hope some comfort is gained in knowing how truly special his impact has been on so many people. His legacy and spirit will live on through those he has touched.

He was a pleasure to talk to and always tried to put a positive spin on the trying issues of the day. My wife and I also lost a father suddenly at about the same age. Difficult as it was, we tried to focus on the on the positive effects that he had on our lives. Knowing Mike, we are sure that you also have many fine loving memories to cherish. God Bless him.

After Mike had worked for Enterasys for less than 3 months, I was walking through the halls of the office, and Mike stopped to say hi and called me by name. I live in Florida and that was my first visit to the office since Mike had been there. I was shocked that Mike knew who I was by name, and I knew from that point that we had found a great new leader for our company. Mike will be truly missed.

September 26, 2008

It was a shock to hear the passing of Mr. Fabiaschi. I will never forget the first time I met him in VA. I surprised my husband with a cake for his birthday, not knowing the new CEO was in town visiting the customer. To my surprise the new CEO was unlike other CEOs, he left a lasting impression on me of someone who was not only charasmatic, but someone who loved life, loved his family, loved his job, loved his employees and loved his customers. Tears flow for we will never know why God took him so early in life for we need CEOs like him, but we feel blessed to have felt his love.
We send our love to his family at this difficult time.

Mike was an inspiration to me since the moment I met him in August of 2006. He had a passion not only for his work, as apparent to me everyday, but also for his family. I saw this as he spoke about Abby to me during my interview process. He was a great leader and role model and someone that I was truly fortunate to know. He will be missed emensly.

September 26, 2008

My thoughts and prayers are with the Fabiaschi family. Mike was the finest business leader that I have been associated with in my 32 year career. The term "role model" has Mike's picture next to its definition. He inspired all as a leader but more importantly as a family man and caring person. I will always be thankful for the opportunity he gave me. He will always be remembered. With respect and love, Bill Przybylinski

Deb, Sarah & Abby,

You, above all others, know what a special man Mike was. But, I don't think he had any idea how many hearts and lives he touched - or how many of us would have followed him to the ends of the earth in support of his vision.

Mike maintained an enviable balance between his passion for his work and his passion for his family. This is unusual for an executive - and he was admired for it. He inspired us to be the best at whatever we did and proudly serve our team and its mission.

I'm so thankful for the honor to have been Mike's assistant years ago. And I so regret having to say goodbye to him so soon. I always thought we'd work together again. I must say, I'm absolutely heartbroken.

I send you my heartfelt sympathies and wishes for comfort in this most difficult time.

Much love,
-MaryAnn
