Margaret Egan Obituary

EGAN,MargaretH. (Finnegan) Of Quincy , September 23, 2008. Beloved wife of the late Walter R. Egan. Loving mother of Helen M. Ferguson and her husband Jack of Holbrook and Joseph R. Egan and his wife Carol of NH. Cherished grandmother of Douglas Ferguson of NH, James Ferguson of IL, Christopher Egan of NH, and Corey Egan of NH. Great grandmother of Elise, Abigail and Hailey Ferguson, and Ryan and Brennan Egan. Margaret was Secretary to the Principal at Quincy Vocational Technical High School for 17 years retiring in 1980. She was a member of the Adams Shore Community Club, Treasurer to the Blue & Gold Club and Secretary to the Merryshores Club. Mrs. Egan graduated from Braintree High School and was a 1935 graduate of Burdett College . Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock St., Quincy, Sunday Visiting hours 2-6 PM followed by the Life Celebration Service Monday morning at 9:15 AM. Funeral Mass in Holy Trinity Parish at Our Lady of Good Counsel Church , Quincy at 10 AM. Burial in Saint Mary's Cemetery, Randolph . Donations in memory of Mrs. Egan may be made to Quincy Interfaith Shelter, P.O. Box 2512 Quincy , MA 02169 .

Helen & Family, I am so sorry for your loss. I know from Helen that Margaret was an incredible woman and will be dearly missed by her loved ones and all those lives she touched. My condolences and prayers go out to you all.
