Lillian Spileos Obituary

SPILEOS, Lillian M. (Reynolds) Of Newton formerly of Boston's South End, Sept. 24th, 2008. Beloved wife of the late Sam Spileos Sr. Devoted & loving mother of Sheila A. Jewell of Bellingham, Robert E. Spileos of Boston's North End, Pamela E. Masters of Charlestown, and the late Sam Spileos Jr. Sister of Richard Reynolds of West Roxbury, and the late William and Robert Reynolds. Cherished grandmother of 2 granddaughters, a grandson, and 4 great granddaughters. In addition she is survived by many nieces & nephews. Daughter of the late Timothy Bernard Reynolds and Julia Esther (Sales) Reynolds. A Funeral Service in celebration of her life will be held from the Brasco & Sons Memorial, 773 Moody St., WALTHAM on Monday morning at 11:00 a.m. Relatives & friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours on Sunday from 2 - 6 p.m. Interment Newton Cemetery. Flowers are appreciated or expressions of sympathy may be made in her memory to the A.S.P.C.A., 424 E. 92nd St., New York, NY 10128-6804. I still vivdly remember Auntie Lillian in her midnight blue dress and coat by Rose Cherubini when she married Uncle Tarky. She was so beautiful, I thought that she looked like Grace Kelly. I was so in awe, I was very young then.
We will miss her, especially her wonderful laugh. Her family was her life, and the love shines in all of her children's faces.
