So sorry to hear of Tom's passing as I fondly remember him from my ND days and he was a classmate at Mt.Alvernia and BC High of a number of my high school friends from the Boston area.

Dear Nada,
I first met Tom when he was a freshman at BC High Shool ( the "C" had fallen off the building and that's what Tom and I always called it). He was a great friend. We were a year apart and one day he called me out of the blue and asked me what I thought about Notre Dame. I told him it was great and he needed to attend if he got accepted. He did and we spent three great years as room mates. Tom was a brother to me and I loved him dearly. Time and distance had separated us over the years. I just found out about Tom last week and I am deeply saddened. My prays will be with him always.

To Nada, the boys and Tommy's sisters.
My deepest sympathies to you all. I had no closer friend than Tom. I look back at the times that our group of friends spent together and realize how meaningful those times, just being together, meant in forming who we are today. Tommy was the true and great friend; caring, thoughtful and one who always put others first. Tommy faced all challanges life put before him in most admirable way.
I was thrilled to meet Thomas III and Brendan during my short visit before his passing and hope to meet Colin soon as well. Tommy and Nada have raised three very beautiful sons....probably the most important and rewarding task given to us in life.
Tommy will be sorely missed but when I think back on our times together I will always smile.
Gail and I wil keep you in our thoughts and prayers.

Dear Mulvey Family,
I was so sorry to hear that Tom lost his long and very brave battle against cancer. I have so many happy memories of our shared childhood with all of our Mulvey cousins; Tom, Lisa, Kara, Christina and Aimee, and am thinking of them all as well as Nada and her three boys at this hard time. The Mulveys were such a great support to all of us when we lost our mother last March. Aunt Mary-Jean would have been particularly saddened as Tom always held a special place in her heart. Not only was he named after her much-loved brother, but after her dear father as well. Please know that the love and prayers of your whole family are with you all.

To Toms Family:
I met Tom years ago in Chestnut Hill. He was one of the nicest people I have met in my life. He had a kind heart and great spirit. He was a true gentleman. I am sad to hear of his passing. God love you and take care of you through this difficult time in your life.

To Tommy's family, my deepest condolences on the loss of this great guy.
In our freshman homeroom at B. C. High, Tommy made a huge impression on me immediately with his outgoing, sincere nature. I'm
sure that over the course of four years, virtually all of the class of '73 would have had similar impressions at one time or another.
I recall the pleasure of speaking with him a few years later at a reunion. I certainly missed him at each reunion after that.

Nada and kids,
Please know that Tommy and you are in my thoughts and prayers. Tom was one of the really special people in my life and one of the "good guys". Tom had contacted me a little over a year ago to congratulate me on a mission trip I had made to Liberia. It meant a lot to me to know that he was thinking of me, as I have often of him. Wished he had let me know about his illness, but that was Tom and it wasn't about him. Our days at BC High were such a special time. Missed him at the 35th reunion. We will keep you and the boys in our hearts and may the Lord watch over you, guide you and comfort you in this time of need.
