So it's been just about a year since we lost our friend. Not a day goes by that I don't think of him and smile through the sadness. There's a special place in my heart for him that will always be there.

Dickie D... You were one of a kind, always smiling and had a heart of gold. We are so happy to have had you as such a great friend but so sad that you are gone too soon. We shared so many good times and have so many great memories to hold on to. Give Morty, Billy and Joe Mac a hug for us. We thank you for being a part of our lives and we will miss you dearly.

To the Danforth Family: My deepest sympathy to you all during this very sad time. You are in my thoughts and prayers.
Dickie: When I stop and think about your passing, I feel great sadness. I've found that the best remedy for this is to remember all of the fun times and laughs that we shared....softball tournaments with the guys from Cambridge....weekends in North Conway with everyone from the "Yard"....or just hanging out for a "cold one" (or three) at Moriarty's or Pine Banks after a game. You were one of the most kind hearted and generous persons that anyone could hope to meet. Thank you for being such a good friend, not only to me but to my entire family.
Rest in peace and know that you will be missed.

Dickie D.....Devastated is an understament. Eddie Bain, Tommy, Big Kell, and your Malden gang were very fortunate to have such a great friend. We had many laughs at the old Broadway haunt...you were always a gentleman! Morty is waiting with open arms on the first tee in the heavens above to greet his old friend Dickie D. Rest in peace my friend!

Yvonne, Richie and family,
Our deepest sympathy, words cannot explain how sorry we are for your loss. About three weeks ago I met a man at my office we got to talking and he said he works @ Lincoln Lab. I said there's only one person I know that works there and that's Ricky Danforth. His response was you know Ricky, I know Ricky and how great of guy he is. I explained how his parents and my parents were friends for years and the conversation just kept going.
If there's anything you need please call.
with sincere sadness
