My sincere sympathy to Mrs. Chakar and family for the loss of my friend and former MetroMedic coworker Dr. Chakar. My father also suffered from heart disease. I was fortunate to work with such a kind and generous man, who was also a talented surgeon. I am indebted to him for his recommendation that I see an eye specialist in time for proper diagnosis & treatment. I will miss him very much.

I am sad, my heart cry.
He is my uncle,I didn't know him in person, but my mother and father told me about him.
I heard his voice some times in telephone.
I am sure he was a good man, a good father and husband, and a success profissional doctor, and I feel proud of him.
I am sure he had happiness in this life.
God save his Soul

My deepest sympathies to the Chakar family. I worked with Dr. Chakar at MetroMedic for many years and had the pleasure of visiting him at his home. He was a respected man, always professional, compassionate, caring, and very knowledgeable. I trusted him as my surgeon when he removed my thyroid at St. Elizabeth's Hospital. Dr Chakar was one of a kind and he will be missed by those who had the pleasure of knowing such a great man.

I first met the wonderful Dr. Chakar when my wife Suzel and I were dating. I used to spend time at MetroMedic waiting for her and watching them all interact. Dr. Chakar always made me feel welcome and I always enjoyed our talks. He did my wife and I a great honor by walking her down the aisle when we got married, giving our ceremony his special touch of class. We will miss him in the Roth family and his wife and children are in our thoughts and prayers and we are sorry we're not there to offer what little support we can.

Dr. Chakar was and will always be one of the most special people in my life. He was my second father. Since 1989 when I started working with him he became a huge influence in my life. When I became engaged to my husband he was the one to pull him a side and have the "talk about what his intentions were:-)" Later when I got married I proudly held on to his arm as he walked me up the aisle at the church to give me away. When my children were born he was one of the first people I talked to. He was always there with advice when ever I needed him. When I had my daughter eight years ago I knew what to name her before she was born. Maya, after her beautiful godmother Maya Chakar, Dr. Chakar's darling baby daughter who he loved and was so proud of.
Dr. Chakar, I am certain that you are in a wonderful place, probably at a black tie avent and everyone there is mesmerized by you and attentively listening to everything you have to say, for you were never shy with your opinions:-)!!! And I loved you for it!
What a brilliant mind you had, and your heart was even bigger!
He idolized his wife and children so much. Everyone always knew they were his main priority, and in return he was so well loved and taken care of by every single one of them, especially his beloved wife Gilberte. She was his wife, his nurse, his angel.
You were so loved, and you will for ever be missed!
Mrs. Chakar, Maya, Nadine and the entire family, I love you all! Please know that my heart is with you and I share your sorrow.
God Bless,
Suzel, Ken, Maya Isabel and Oliver xx0xx00x.
