DAY, Walter H."Butch" Of North Berwick, ME , formerly of Mansfield, age 69, passed away on Sunday Sept. 28, 2008. Beloved husband of Patricia (Kerrigan) Day. Devoted father of Michael Day of Los Angeles, CA, Tricia O'Malley and her husband Steven of Lynn, Kristen Day and her husband John Czuj of Jamaica Plain and Melissa Day of Bellingham. Treasured grandfather of Hannah and Nicholas O'Malley, Josie, Noah and Violet Czuj and Olivia and Ryan Crivello. Son of the late Walter & Anna Day. Brother-in-law of Peggy and Leo McSweeney, Paul Kerrigan, Richard and Millie Kerrigan and Brian and Denise Kerrigan. Uncle of Kevin Day, Karen Botelho and Lore Nordelli. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Funeral from the Brady & Fallon Funeral Home, 10 Tower St. (opp. Forest Hills MBTA Station) JAMAICA PLAIN on Friday October 3 at 10:15 AM, followed by a Funeral Mass in Our Lady of Lourdes Church, 14 Montebello Road, Jamaica Plain at 11 AM. Relatives and friends are invited. Visiting hours Thursday 2-4 & 6-8 PM. Interment private. Walter served his country proudly as a member of the US Naval Elite Special Forces.
