To the Nocella Family,

I have so many memories growing up on 17 Herbert St. John took such good care of that house and property. Every time I go back to Lynn I go by there and it just doesn't look the same anymore. I remember pitching a tent in the back yard and sleeping out on a saturday night. I also remember laying on the grass hill and looking up at the stars. Playing in the garage was always fun too. On rainy days it was always fun to play "hide n seek" with my brother and sister throughout the 4 floors of the house (including the attic and cellar). Sliding down the banister (to get away from the dog chasing me). I remember hearing banging on the wall because we were making too much noise at 6:00 in the morning. I missed meeting John for lunch last time I was back there in 2001. I am sorry I didn't have the chance. He was such a great man.
I am saddened to hear of your recent losses. I hope to hear from you in the future.

I am so very sorry for your loss. Your Dad was a good friend of my father who I loss last September. They would meet in the clubhouse every afternoon and talk about their
experiences in the war. My Dad always spoke very highly of his friend John. Infact they may be continuing their stories right now as I am writing this to you !

My thoughts and prayers are with all of you during this difficult time. Your Dad will always be remembered.
