To Brad,
As classmate, fraternity roommate, surrogate brother, you were always there for me at the important times; in consolation, as best man and work/life colleague. In the bonds of blessings, thank you.
Lee Lindeman, Amherst '59
Separation Symphony
The opening strain proclaims the theme/Of startling emptiness/From overpowering sense of loss/Which can't resist its press.
It settles in, a haunting friend/As variations start;/So every part of life once shared/Is cruelly pulled apart.
Then enter strains which salve the wound,/As Time repairs and starts/
Creative thought of future plans/
To entertain the heart.
The final movement, classically/
Sings of triumph in its claim/That love will once again feel light/
A healing last refrain.
The Poet and the Pendulum
On Being Unsettled
2001, Lee Neubert Lindeman, Eastham, MA.

Brad, you have always been a guidepost to those around you. May we continue in you path. Our wishes and sympathy to your family. Rest in peace. God bless you.

You led our class in song since 1955 and we hear your music today. We read your words of poetic verse and know again your ability to feel the world around you. We remember the gladness in your greeting and the smile you passed to us. We celebrate your life, Brad, with thanksgiving.
