Its been more than 15 years since I last saw Bill and I have to say he is someone that I never forgot. I spoke of Bill often and heard many good story's about him over the years. Bill was a big hearted man with a kind gentle giving soul. He will live on in many peoples hearts as they continue to speak of him.

Bill took his Christian feelings and beliefs seriously. He studied about the Saints and Greek Orthodoxy with a true passion and love. More than just a spiritual and intellectual interest, he took what he learned and believed, and carried it with him everywhere he went. He lived his life and behaved on a daily basis with these feelings representing themselves in all things he did. He treated all people with courtesy, humility, respect, compassion, generosity, and love, true to his beliefs of being a good, Christian, human being. Anyone who knew Bill was blessed in having shared that rare experience that you don’t have with all people. He loved his friends and family and they loved him. You are missed by all who knew you. May your spirit find peace and join those with God you so often studied and drew inspiration from during your life.

We didn't see Bill all that often but when we did we were always struck by the kindness and the joyful enthusiasm that radiated from his presence. The man was a cultivator of smiles, and his warmth & strength nourished us all. The twinkle in his eye reminded us that our time on earth is celebration. We are grateful to have had the good fortune to spend some time celebrating with him. He is missed.

I am Iain's first grade teacher. He talks a lot about his family and his memories of his grandfather. Iain has also written about his grandfather during writing time. I know that he will miss him very much. My thoughts are with your family.

Although I haven't seen Bill for many years, I have some strong memories. Having spent Christmas and other celebrations with Bill and his family, he is a part of experiences that I treasure. When my family weren't available to celebrate with, his was. He has been present for every single event I have been to where an animal larger than a chicken was cooked whole. His legacy of family and community live on through his daughter and his grandchildren. My thoughts and well wishes go out to the whole family.

Bill Koustenis was one of those rare individuals who was larger than life --a life force, in truth. Though our time with him was brief, each encounter was memorable, for he brought such an exuberance, such a love of life and a joy in sharing the moment with those who surrounded him. Though his life on earth was far too short, he managed to squeeze more delight and joy out of living than those who live far longer. He will be sorely missed by his loving family; but what a legacy of delight in living fully he has left behind.

Our thoughts are with you and your family. We will forever hold dear the warm and cheerful memories of Bill. He was a bright and loving soul who gave of himself to his family, his friends, and to so many in need that he never even met. Bill embraced life and was always willing to share the beauty with those around him. He will be missed – but will always remain in our hearts.
In deepest sympathy and with much love from the Bailey family.

Bill’s loving and caring life touched so very many people. While we deeply mourn the loss of this wonderful man, at the same time we value the example he set and appreciate very much that he was a part of our lives. Let us remember and hold dearly in our hearts and souls the happy moments and memories.
With sympathy and love,

My thoughts have been with you all through the last several months...it has been so hard for everyone. I remember Bill as being very warm, friendly, inquisitive, generous, and happy. I will never forget roasting a goat in the driveway at my parents house (or under the deck at Kurt and Diana's!), nor all of the traditional Greek foods that would magically appear in vast quantities at each gathering- and there were lots of gatherings! Family is special, and Bill made it clear that his family was his rock. Aurora and Iain were very special to him, and although they won't have him in their lives now, they have wonderful memories of their times together. We will all miss Bill.

I'm so sorry for your family's loss. Diana's father was such an intelligent, warm and genuinely kind person who was so in love with his family and positively adored his grandchildren. He was such a welcoming person who enjoyed celebrating life's blessings.
Please accept the LaRonde family's condolences and best wishes for your family.

For my Father,
In ways that you can not even begin to know…
You taught me the value of family and to know my priorities.
Even though it may have not have looked like it…
I was listening.
In ways that I can not even begin to explain…
You showed me how to be a seeker of truth and knowledge.
Even though it may not seem like it at times…
I am a thinker.
In ways that you can not even begin to guess…
You have made me strong both in mind and in spirit.
Even though it may not always show…
I have faith.
In ways that I can not even begin to express…
You helped shape me into the person that I am today.
Even though I may not always thank you as I should…
I am grateful.
All these things I am because of you.
Thanks Pop.
With love always,
Your daughter

May Bill’s memory be Eternal. I worked with Bill and Christine for many years at Polaroid. Bill was a wonderful caring person with a gentle heart. This world has truely lost a great man, but Our Havenly Father has called him to a better place where there is no pain or sorrow or suffering. Bill’s family came first, the love he had for Christine, his daughter, and grandchildren was the foundation of his family. My thoughts and prayers are with you Christine and Diane.
