GRIFFIN, Brian Christopher
Lifelong resident of Norwood, passed away suddenly, October 1, 2008, surrounded by his family at St. Elizabeth's Medical Center in Brighton at the age of 51. Devoted son of the late John and Anne (Dillon) Griffin.
Loving brother of John Rodger Griffin and his wife Carol of Norwood, the late Matthew Griffin of New York, and Mary "Katie" Griffin of Walpole.
Cherished uncle of Kelly (Griffin) Hollowell and her husband Mark and their daughter Grace of Wrentham. Beloved Uncle of Andrew Griffin of Norwood.
Also survived by many loving cousins and friends.
Brian attended Norwood public schools, graduating from Shaw Prep in Boston. He worked for many years in the food service industry.
Funeral from the Gillooly Funeral Home, 126 Walpole St., (Rte 1A) NORWOOD, on Monday, October 6, 2008 at 9 :00 am, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at St. Catherine of Siena Church 547 Washington Street, Norwood, at 10:00am. Interment to follow at Highland Cemetery, Norwood. Visiting hours at the funeral home on Sunday from 4:00 to 8:00 pm. Late longtime member of the Colonial Boys Fife & Drum Corps of Norwood.
