Katherine Haratsis Obituary

HARATSIS, Katherine "Auntie Kay" Of Somerville, passed away peacefully on Oct. 3rd. Beloved sister of Charles and his wife Mary, and the late James and George Haratsis. Sister-in-law of Tina Haratsis. Loving aunt of several nieces, nephews, grandnieces & grandnephews. Visiting hours at the Keefe Funeral Home, 2175 Mass. Ave., CAMBRIDGE, Monday from 4-8:00 pm. Relatives and friends are kindly invited. A Funeral Service will be held at the Dormition of the Virgin Mary Greek Orthodox Church, 29 Central St., Somerville Tuesday at 10 am. Those wishing to attend the funeral are asked to go directly to church. Interment Needham Cemetery. Expressions of sympathy may be made to the above named church in her memory.

Auntie Kay was, indeed, a kind and loving woman. And, she made the best lemon meringue pie! I will never forget her sense of humor and her wonderful depth of compassion. My deepest sympathies to the Haratsis family on a loss so great.
