In My Pocket
I have memories in my pocket.
They rattle among the change.
My memories of you are treasures I carry wherever I go.
They are stored in bits and pieces, parts of a beautiful whole
They give me comfort when I think I am alone.
Yes, I have memories in my pocket, like so much other stuff I keep there.
But of all the treasures I have, it’s the memories of you that are the most precious.

Mary will be missed by so many wonderful people. Although I haven't seen her in quite some time, I still remember her quick wit and humor, her upbeat attitude and mostly (and most importantly) her true love and devotion to "Pic" and her children. She talked about all of you with such pride and love, I still remember the conversations from more than a decade ago.
Her love of her friend, Jeannette also stands out in my mind. One was quite often with or talking on the phone to the other.
I met Mary through Jeannette many years ago. I am grateful to have known her and witnessed at least a very small part of her life and legacy.
I am so very sorry...

To Kerry, Courtney and family,
We were so deeply saddened to hear about the sad loss of Mary. We feel so very blessed to have had to privilege of knowing such a kind and loving lady, who always made us feel so welcome in her home. I remember fondly our "chats" when I'd call to talk to Kerry. She was a remarkable lady whose loving nature extended well beyond her immediate family. She always made us feel part of the family. Although we are far away, please know that you are all in our thoughts and prayers during this difficult and sad time.
With respect and deepest sympathy,
Helen and Mark

To my wonderful brother Bob, and nephews, Steve, Joe, Frank, and Danny, and my niece, Kerry.
I'm so sorry about your loss. All who knew Mary couldn't help but love her. Her pint size did not keep her from making her point when it needed to be made and her diligent effort to raise her large family to be mature adults. I'm sure all your memories of growing up will comfort you in the future. Please know Jim and I are thinking of all of you at this time.
Love, Uncle Jim and Aunt Rita

Uncle Bob, Steve, Joe, Frank, Danny and Kerry:
Words cannot express how very sorry and deeply saddened I am over the loss of your Mom. She was truly someone that I have so many cherished memories of as I grew up in this large Coughlin family. Uncle Bob - please know that everyone loved the two of you as a couple and I will always have you in my heart and in my daily thoughts. Kerry - you two were the only girls in a house of men and I know how close you were to your Mom. Please know that she will always be a part of you. Danny, Steve, Joe and Frank - she was certainly small, but you could never question the effect she had on you as a Mom and the positive influence she had on you in your lives.
With Deepest Sympathy and Love,
Your cousin Peggy B. and family
