Although I did not know Mark, I know that he was my Grandfather's (The late Mark Ridge, of Brooklyn) cousin and I can tell from reading the obituary that Mark was as much of a character and a remarkable man as was my grandfather. I have visited Carna and was very impressed with the pluck of the Ridges to have grown up in such rugged circumstances and then to emigrate to America. My condolences to Mary, Mark's family and all my distant kin there. Kathy Finger, daughter of Peggy (Ridge) Duemmel
