Nicoletta Fortunato Obituary

FORTUNATO, Nicoletta "Nickie" Of Winthrop, on Oct. 9th. Beloved wife of the late Michael. Loving mother of John Fortunato and his wife Joanne of Mendon and Michael Fortunato and his wife Colette of Hopkinton. Sister of Pat Romeo of Everett and the late Frank. Also survived by 4 loving grandchildren, Christopher, Marissa, Maria, and Taylor. Funeral from the Salvatore Rocco & Sons Funeral Home, 331 Main St., EVERETT, on Tuesday, Oct. 14th at 9 a.m. Funeral Mass at St. Anthony's Church, Everett at 10 a.m. Relatives and friends are kindly invited. Visiting hours are Monday only 4-8 p.m. Donations in Nicoletta's memory may be made to the Fortunato Scholarship Fund, c/o Winthrop High School, Winthrop, MA 02152. I was very fortunate to meet Nicki.I wish I had known her longer,she was my adopted grandmother after the passing of my own Nana.She is'nt suffering any longer,may she be in peace and be our angel aboveIwill miss her,alot.

I am so very sorry to hear of your Moms passing. She was a wonderful lady that no words could ever describe. She was a great neighbor and friend to my Grandmother for so many, many years. My heart is heavy today for the pain you and your family must be feeling. Take comfort in knowing that she is now with your lovely Dad in the Heaven above.
