I worked with Colin at Fidelity Investments. He was a wonderful person and friend. He always had a nice way about him and a funny story to share. He was always the first to plan an office party including the entire menu! I am very sorry to hear of his passing and wanted to share my sincere sympathy with his family and friends.

I am so sad for you all. I too know what it is to lose a sibling. It is very hard to accept. I remember Colin back in the Moorings with all of us swimming in your saltwater pool. My love to all of you, Ann, Caroline, Morgan, Digby and Madeline.

Dear Bertram Family -

I want to extend my heartfelt sympathy for your loss. I am so grateful that I had an opportunity to meet Colin up in NH and enjoy his friendship. He was intelligent, witty but also a gentle soul. Colin was and will always be my favorite ski buddy. We loved Sunapee, the back side and would always have such a great time together. He would never leave me on the mountain and would stay behind and ski alongside me all afternoon when the experts got restless. For that I will always be appreciative. His company, his friendship, his laughter I will greatly miss.

I close my eyes and see you running down that beach in Rhode Isand with your beautiful blonde hair and will always remember that.

To my dear cousins, I love you all and please know that my heart is there with you. Love, Pauline

Dear Bertram Family~
I am so deeply saddened at the news of Colin's passing. We we're Boston pal's many years ago after we both graduated from college. He was always a ray of sunshine at any gathering-warmhearted and extremely quick witted. Always dapperly dressed with a devilshly fun smile and a twinkle in his eyes ~ a good person in every way. I enjoyed his friendship. He was a rare bird. My deepest sympathies to you.

To All of My Cousins …

With heartfelt sympathy during this very difficult time… my prayers and thoughts are with each of you. I will always remember Colin for his thoughtfulness and kindness, not to mention his “playful” personality. He touched so many hearts….

Lots of Love,
Dorothy.

Please accept our sympathy in the loss of Collie and know that we will miss him everyday. We feel like we have known him for so long, but yet it was't long enough! He was shortchanged and so were we. He can never be replaced and will always be in our hearts and minds.
