Joan Bell Obituary

BELL, Joan M. (Hoban) Of Rockland, 77, died Friday, Oct. 17, 2008 at the Brockton Hospital. The daughter of the late Harrison and Frances (Bowen) Hoban, she was born in Boston on July 30, 1931. She was raised and educated in So. Boston, and has lived in Rockland since 1952. Mrs. Bell enjoyed bingo, playing cards and reading. Wife of the late Richard E. Bell, she is survived by 2 daughters, Janice A. Landreville of Middleboro and Joanne M. Markis of Weston FL, 1 brother, Robert Hoban of W. Roxbury, 5 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. She was the mother of the late James R. Bell and John R. Bell. Sister of the late Maureen Giorlando. Funeral Mass on Tuesday at 9 AM in Holy Family Church, 403 Union St. in Rockland. Interment in Holy Family Cemetery. Visiting hours in the Sullivan Funeral Home, 45 East Water St. in ROCKLAND on Monday from 4-8 PM. Memorial donations may be made to the Juvenile Diabetes, 60 Walnut St., Wellesley Hills,MA 02481.
