CLEARY, Robert Emmett Chemist, born September 1, 1920, Holyoke, Massachusetts. Son of Robert Emmett Cleary, Sr. and Helen (Fitzgerald) Cleary. Husband of the late Barbara (Fitzgerald) Cleary, with whom he shared 56 years of marriage. Father and father-in-law of Ellen and Phillip Dube of Portsmouth, N.H., James Cleary of Portland, CT, Robert Cleary and Alison White of Chelmsford, MA, Barbara Ann Cleary and David Hart of Salem, MA, David and Candace Gray-Cleary of East Hampton, CT, and Michael and Theresa Cleary of Portland, CT, ten grandchildren, and one great grandchild.
