To all the Mees,
This is Marcia Abbott, daughter of Frank Abbott. My dad learned today (through the MBTA newsletter) that your dad had passed away. He (and all of us Abbotts) have fond memories of your dad--through all the years at the MBTA, the "poker parties", the great "press box" seats he would get us for the Ice Capades, etc. We are lucky to have these great men in our lives for so long.
From the Abbotts to the Mees, we send our love.

Ellen and Rich,
I was so sorry to hear of your dad's passing. He was a wonderful man. The write up in the Ledger was quite a tribute. I obviously never knew all his accomplishemnts, I just knew a friendly, smiling, happy man that made you say "What a nice guy!" any time you spoke with him.
Take care. I will be thinking of you.

Mr. Mee,
Sir, I would just like to say thank you for your service and sacrifice for our Country when you served with the USN during WW II fighting the Japanese in the Pacific as a crewmember of the escort aircraft carrier USS Sangamon(CVE 26). And to your family and loved ones, I wish to extend my deepest sympathy.
