Elizabeth McCarthy Obituary

McCARTHY, Elizabeth G. Of Shrewsbury and formerly of Worcester, died Oct. 19. Worcester native. Graduate of Worcester State College with a masters degree in History and International Relations from Clark University. Former teacher. Widow of Atty. Andrew F. X. McCarthy. She leaves three daughters, Maribeth M. DiPietro of Holden, Catherine McCarthy Ho of Newton and Ann M. Green of West Hartford, CT., nine grandchildren, and two sisters. Calling hours Tues., Oct. 21, 4-7 p.m. at Athy Memorial Home, 111 Lancaster St., WORCESTER. Funeral Mass Wed., Oct. 22 at 10 a.m. in Blessed Sacrament Church, 555 Pleasant St., Worcester. Burial St. John's Cemetery, Worcester. In lieu of flowers, donations to Nazareth Home for Boys, 77 Mulberry St., Leicester 01524 or Notre Dame Long Term Care Center, 559 Plantation St., Worcester 01605.

I am so sorry to hear of your Grandmother's passing. I know how devoted to her you were. Remember all the visits and meals in Shrewsbury and all the drinking (not her)
