Frank's father, Bart, was my Mother, Mary's, brother. I have fond boyhood memories of wonderful and exciting visits to their farm in Sharon. His twin sisters, Arlene and Alice, were born the same year and month, almost to the day, as me. In those days, we didn't have much in the way of material things so our relatives were our treasure. The Longs were no exception and as youngsters, we enjoyed the tight bonds of a typical Irish family. It was truly a joyous time. Frank was a terrific guy, always laughing and a source of great enjoyment for us kids.
While distance and time often separate extended familes, they remain in our thoughts forever.
My sincere condolences to Frank's family and friends.
