To My Dear Friend Skip:
I think of you often and realize how fortunate I was to know you as well as I did. I still hear your words and laughter as if you are right next to me at times. I think of things you said and did that make me smile as we worked together for so long. Your ability to listen and offer words of wisdom was the best. I know the great impact you are having in the world you are in now because of what I was so blessed to be a part of when you were here. You know your family and friends miss you dearly but also know when something good happens that we know you somehow had a hand in it and that makes us smile. Thanks for keeping an eye on us Skip.

To My Brother,Skip:
So hard to believe you have been gone from us for 6 months now.Not a moment goes by that you are not on my mind. I remember your smile and how you were always there for me growing up. How proud we all were of your sailing days!!
How dark you always got and those sparkling blue eyes shining through.I dont think you ever knew the many hearts you have touched through your short time with us all. I will never be the same losing you,but I know Lu and Smitty have their arms around you and there is no more pain just rest.I will always hold dear our Easter 2008 and our walk on the beach but most of all Your words that day will forever be etched in my thoughts. I just wish I would see you walk through the door one more time or hear your voice on the phone once again.
Losing you has changed life beyond words. Your in the wind, the ocean breeze but most of all in our hearts forever.
I love you,
Your sister, Lin

Dearest Skip - he was such an inspiration to me in my career in the wonderful world of printing. His enthusiasm, straight forwardness and honesty about getting through the day to day trials and tribulations of putting ink on paper and having it come out right was one of Skips great attributes. He will be sorely missed. My deepest condolences to John (whom I never met, but heard so many tales - Skip's and my cubicals were right next to each other) - He was a joy.

Dear Donny Bobby & Linda:

Some people make the world a better place by being loving, kind and caring to others. Skip was truly one of those people. We sailed Star boats together at CPYC and traveled up and down the Atlantic Coast to compete in regattas. We also spent many hours working together at Duplin Marine. Skip was a dear friend who taught me a lot and was also a classmate of Cindy's at WHS '70. We are sorry to hear of his passing. Skip will be deeply missed by his friends and relatives, and I know we will all treasure our fond memories of this very special human being.
